I hear and I forget.
I see and I believe.
I do and I understand.Confucius
This qoute was written by the famous Chinese thinker and social philosopher named, Confucius. His philosophy was mostly about social relationships, justice, and governmental mortality. There is a system called Confucianism which is the Confucius system of philosophy.
I think this qoute means that you if you hear it from someone else that you shouldnt worry about it and just forget it. When you see it yourself through your own eyes you can trust that it's true. Also when you do it yourself you understand it better than you would if you didn't.
The reason I chose this qoute is because it is very realistic and it relates to a lot of things in my life. Everything in life is educational because you learn from it. I think this qoute is great because I really would want to be able to listen to what it's saying and just let the stuff I hear go and to just go by what I see for myself.
