Confucius is a well-known leader in philosopy with his wise phrases and theories about the law, life, and the government. He grew up in the second half of the Zhou dynasy (1027?-256BC), with his name originally K'ung Ch'iu, he strongly disapproved the current disorder and lack or moral standards. He believed that the only way to fix the situation was to change the principles and conduct of the ancient times. He then began teaching at a school where he lectured his pupils on the ancient classics. His theories and principles were spread throughout China by his disciples, and soon many people learned from his wise sayings.

 

This quote is about teaching and how people learn. Some people don't listen and let things slip right by them. When they see it done they then believe that it is true. But until they do it themselves they won't understand.
